英语翻译的标准是信达雅。就是忠实于原文，达就是通顺，雅的标准就高一些，要求有韵味雅致。初中翻译的标准就低一些，达到前两个就很好。初中的英语我们怎么去翻译呢？我来告诉一个方法。
孩子初中的英语单元课程基本上是分A和B两部分。先要把A和B部分的课文准确的翻译成汉语。这需要电子词典或者是家长的帮助。让孩子彻底的能够明白英语到汉语的转化。这一步非常关键，关键点就是要准确。这一过程中让孩子熟悉课文的单词短语和句子结构。
第2部分是汉译英。让孩子把课本合上，然后把翻译好的汉语句子，翻译转换成英语。这个过程中孩子会犯很多错误，很多不准确的地方。要让孩子明白他的错误在什么地方。如果你坚持上三个单元到四个单元，通过这种练习，孩子的英语翻译能力就会获得极大的提高。将来孩子进到大学上翻译课，其实也是这个方法。
这么说有点枯燥，我来用实例来给大家做说明。鲁教版七年级英语下册第七单元，53页。On that day, ARON's arm was cauht under a 2000-kilo rock that fell on him when he was climbing by himself in the mountains.那天当阿伦在山里独自攀岩时,他的胳膊被一个滚落向他的一吨巨石砸中了。这个句子涉及几个语法和词法知识点。was caught是被动语态，孩子还没学，但要告诉他，A 2000 -kilo rock这是一个重要的语法知识点。That fell on him是一个定语从句，Was climbing是一个过去进行时态。这几个知识点明白以后，然后再把它做汉译英。只有通过这样反复的练习，孩子的英语翻译能力才能获得大的提高。我这个方法你坚持上一个学期，恭喜你，你的孩子就成英语学霸了。
